Happy Friday y’all! I am so excited share this Mama of 4 and her boudoir session with you. Being a mom of three myself, I totally get it. I am looking forward to my upcoming shoot. She is a mom of some very busy little kiddos. Between dance, sports, meals chores and all around just being a mom, we all tend to forget what it is like to just be ourselves. Somedays it is hard to keep it all together and as Joe Dirt says, “Keep on, keepin’ on.” Beauty R decided it was time to do something for herself. You know what. I am so glad she did because this Mama of 4 TOTALLY NAILED her session.
I love getting share our gals images when given the opportunity but even more I love sharing their words with you. We asked Beauty R a few questions after her session and I think it is safe to say we mama’s can relate.
Q: Why did you want to have a boudoir session?
A: I wanted to feel like myself again after having 4 babes and to feel beautiful in my own skin for myself and my husband.
Q: How did you feel during the session?
A: I was nervous, but I surprisingly felt super comfortable even though it was my first time meeting Bumby in person. She was the best cheerleader and made me feel beautiful during so that it would shine through on my photos.
Q: How did you feel when you left that day?
A: When I left that day I didn’t know how I ever managed to narrow down my purchase.
Q: How did you feel when you saw your images?
A: They were literally ALL amazing!!! Dangggg I look good! Which is something I’ve literally never said to myself.
Q: What was your hubby’s reaction?
A: He was just as obsessed as I was and the best part for me was that he didn’t just think I looked sexy, but beautiful.
Q: Looking back at your session what do you remember most?
A: How comfortable I was in my own skin.
Q: If there is another mama of 4 on the fence. What would you say to her?
A: Do it!! I would do it once a week if I could. It is the most empowering thing I’ve ever done.
I get so giddy when I look back on Beauty R’s session and knowing her experience. She is an amazing mama and knowing she can look back on these photos and remember how comfortable she felt in her own skin, reminds me why I do this.
My Favorite Set of Images
This last set of images are amazing! When I took this next photo I had to stop and say, “OMG, I know who the heck it is!!! You remind me of Emma Stone!!!” She giggled because she said she gets that all the time. She totally does have features of her. Especially in this photos below.
Thank you Beauty R for coming the studio and allowing us to pamper you for the day and take some AMAZE-BALLS photos of you.
