Learning to Love Her Body Again: How a Boudoir Session Changed Everything
When she walked into my studio, she had one powerful intention: learning to love her body again. After losing a significant amount of weight, she was still figuring out how to feel confident and comfortable in her own skin. She wanted to celebrate her progress and push her comfort zone—and I was honored to be part of that journey.

“I had lost a lot of weight and wanted to learn how to love my body as is.”
When we first connected, she told me:
“I had lost a lot of weight and wanted to learn how to love my body as is. I wanted to push my comfort zone.”
I hear this a lot—women who’ve hit huge milestones but are still holding back from truly celebrating themselves. This session gave her the space to finally pause and say, “I’ve come this far, and I’m allowed to feel good about it.”

“Bumby made me very comfortable and easily chatted me into feeling like I do this every day.”
As always, those first few minutes come with a little nervous energy—but I promise, it fades fast.
“Bumby made me very comfortable and easily chatted me into feeling like I do this every day and I’m meant to be there. It was a lot of fun and quite a workout!”
That comfort and flow you feel during your session? That’s where the real magic starts. We laugh, we move, we hype you up—and before you know it, you’re completely in your element.

“I couldn’t believe I could look so amazing.”
The image reveal is always emotional, and hers was no exception.
“I felt like I was looking at a complete stranger, but in a good way. I was surprised at some of my favorite images because they show parts of me I tend to be self-conscious about. I couldn’t believe I could look so amazing!” That moment of seeing yourself with fresh eyes is part of the healing. Part of learning to love your body again.

“I remember how amazing Bumby was…”
I asked what stuck with her the most, and her response is exactly the energy I aim to bring into every session.
“I remember how amazing Bumby was in getting me to relax and enjoy the session, and definitely how kind she was.”
Feeling safe, seen, and celebrated is everything.

“You are one-of-a-kind art.”
For anyone sitting on the fence, her words say it best:
“It’s empowering to see yourself through a professional lens in a way that YOU designed. If you’re unsure, ask questions! Share these thoughts with Bumby; she can help guide you through the decision.
Ultimately, you have to want to do this session for yourself, no one else, because it’s you who decides whether you love them or not, and it’s you spending the time to put this all together.
You are one-of-a-kind art, anyone that you decide to share with them is lucky!”
Ready to see yourself that way, too?
Let’s create a session that feels 100% like you—and shows you just how amazing you already are.
