A Personal Comeback

Hey y’all! I am back again writing a blog post about my own personal experiences with Bumby & boudoir sessions. In the last year, my life has flipped completely around. This photoshoot was for me to embrace who I am as a woman entering my thirties and coming out of the darkest year of my life. This was a personal comeback–because I owed myself an apology for everything I have been putting up with for years.

My Boudoir Experiences

I had the privilege to get back into the studio with Bumby again for my second boudoir shoot. This one was a completely different experience than my first Boudoir Maternity Photoshoot.

From the prep and design, the hair and makeup, and the photoshoot itself, EVERYTHING was completely different. I wasn’t focussing on being soft and maternal. I wanted to be sexy and feel empowered during this shoot.

Thirty, Flirty, & Thriving

I have officially entered my thirties, and I wanted to break into this new decade with a bang. I am entering this milestone with a new outlook on life. I am learning to love myself again. I am letting go of the past and soaring into the future. I can truly say I am the happiest I have ever been in my life, and that is not something I say lightly. Having Bumby capture this momentous occasion for me was truly a blessing that I will forever look back on and smile when I remember.

When I say this is a personal comeback–I truly mean it. I have put myself on the back burner time and time again. I have forgotten how to love myself, and as a woman–that is one thing that we must NEVER forget how to do. I have gone through some dark moments in my life, but I can proudly say that I am feeling more confident with myself than I ever have before.

If you are on the fence about doing your own boudoir photoshoot–TAKE THE LEAP! You will NOT regret it! After two separate experiences in the studio–I can confidently say that these photoshoots changed me in the best way.
